Mozartsteg is a pedestrian bridge across the Salzach River in the city centre of Salzburg. It became popular when it was featured in the hollywood classic film, The Sound of Music.
In the movie, Maria and the Vontrapp kids skipped across on the way for a picnic.

Residenzplatz, Salzburg, Austria
Residenzbrunnen or Horse Fountain. This is the largest baroque fountain outside Italy. The fountain is 45 foot tall.
Residenzbrunnen was featured in the Hollywood classic film, The Sound of Music. In the movie, Maria splashed water into one of the horse statue.

The cemetery was featured in the Hollywood Classic film, The Sound of Music.
In the movie, the VonTrapp's family hid from the Nazis inside the cemetery.
We went up to the Hohensalzburg (Salzburg Fortress), Austria by Festungbahn, a funicular railway. The ride was covered by the Salzburg card.

The fortress was used as a prisoner in the early 20th century for Italian prisoners and the Nazi's activist in the 1930's.
Hohensalzburg was constructed in 1077 at the top of the Festungberg, a small hill in the Austrian city of Salzburg.
